Henry Schein has a new partner called Anutra Medical which is a cost-effective, safe and simple buffered anesthetic to every dental practice.

Buffering reduces the pain for a patient when injecting anesthetic while at the same time increasing the doctors workflow.  Before Anutra, buffering was expensive and cumbersome to use.  Here is a short video “click here” from Dr. Paul Feuerstein.  Here are some other key facts about Anutra:

  • Anutra Reduces Patient Pain: Patient’s continually report that Anutra is more comfortable– many say “I didn’t know you gave me a shot.” Watch what actual patients have to say.
  • Anutra Increases Efficiency and Reliability: With buffered anesthetic, patients become numb quickly and more reliably. In fact, the majority of patients get numb

Something that should only take 15 minutes a day and sadly only 10% of Dental Practices do them. If you are looking to increase your Production in your Dental Practice than start with a good Morning Huddle.  This will start every work day off with a positive attitude with what happened yesterday, what is going on for today and what is coming up for tomorrow.  Please take a minute and read this great article in Dental Economics that was written by Jim Philhower.  If you have any questions or would like to meet to discuss how I can help your office implement a morning huddle than please email or call me.

First off, CDC & OSHA recommend using cassettes. It also helps the office in organization, safety, instrument integrity and lastly it is more efficient for the office to use. When talking about being more efficient it is seven minutes faster per procedure using cassettes than it is using pouches. The video below shows how using cassettes is quicker for the staff to use and more importantly shows how safer they are for the staff.

Please contact me directly if your office is interested in switching from pouches to cassettes.

You wouldn’t use a faulty handpiece that puts your patients at risk. It’s not safe,
and it’s not good for your business. The same will soon be true if your using Windows XP
on your practice’s computers.
After April 8, 2014, Microsoft will no longer offer fixes, security patches or other
protections for computers running Windows XP. Sticking with Windows XP
will soon mean exposing your patient data, financial records and network stability
to risks. If you don’t upgrade your computers it can lead to virus’s and hackers getting your patients and your financial information. Call me to discuss your options. Thank you,
